Job Description

Hekemian & Company is looking for summer lifeguards from May 23rd to September 7th (Labor Day) at one of our premier residential buildings in Hackensack, NJ, The Current on River.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise pool occupancy
  • Check in guests and verify pool passes
  • Maintain a sign in sheet via Google Sheets (excel)
  • Coordinate with the building staff when occupancy reaches 25 maximum capacity
  • Must be able to address pool violations and violators (i.e. glass bottles, floatation devices, running)
  • Closely monitoring activities related to the pool area and identify any safety issues
  • Administer first aid in the event of injury, rescue swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administer CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary
Qualifications:
  • High School or equivalent
  • Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid certification required Company will pay for certification classes, or recertification classes if you remain a lifeguard with us for the entire season (paid at the end of the season).
Job Types:

$18.50 per hour
