Swim School Instructor

PEDDIE SWIM SCHOOL INSTRUCTOR

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy teaching all ages to develop proper swimming technique and skills. Peddie Swim School is an aquatics program adjacent to the Peddie Aquatic Association and is constantly growing with the need to expand our instructor staff. All candidates will need to meet the following requirements; from there we will train you for our specific program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaching swimming strokes and water safety rules from beginner to advanced with the ability to assess progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Identify incorrect swimming technique and provide corrective feedback Exhibit patience and enthusiasm with swimmers while providing ground rules for structured class Communicates effectively with students to ensure all water safety rules and curriculum are adhered to Works as a team to keep a great environment for learning. We encourage growth through mastering fundamentals

Qualifications & Certifications:

Must be at least 15 years of age Prior swim lessons and/or swimming experience preferred, but not required Passion for working with children of all ages CPR/Water Safety Training certified preferred; •Lifeguard Certification is a plus

Part-time Pay:

$16.00 - $23.00 per hour

Paid Training Schedule:

Monday to Thursday 5-7pm & Saturday/Sunday 9am-12pm as scheduling allows. Lessons operate year round.
