OF THE SUPERINTENDENT 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR OPEN POSITIONS ARC LIFEGUARD INSTRUCTOR SWIM INSTRUCTOR

As a staff member at the Neptune Aquatic Center (NAC), the Lifeguard Instructor is responsible for providing students with a safe, enjoyable and educational water program while continuing to relate to the needs of the aquatic patrons as a whole. Students must meet all lifeguard instructor requirements and updates as outlined by the American Red Cross, no crossover certificates will be accepted and in good standing with the American Red Cross.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum age of 18 Current certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instruction. Current Base Level American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certificate. Ability to lead a safe, educational and enjoyable lifeguard class for qualified individuals. Ability to save lives and respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations in and around the pool. The physical, visual and auditory abilities to perform the essential functions of the job; that being to prevent accidents and provide assistance should an emergency situation arise. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage difficult or emotional situations by providing prompt and effective service when needed. Remuneration will be at the rate of $35.00 per hour. Account # 13148 APPLICATION
