Lifeguard

Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all pool visitors. The ideal candidate will be trained in water rescue techniques, CPR, and first aid, with a strong commitment to guest safety. This role involves monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests of all ages. Prior lifeguard experience is preferred, along with skills in pool maintenance and guest services. The Lifeguard will be an essential part of our team, providing excellent customer service while ensuring a secure swimming environment. Responsibilities Monitor pool area continuously to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies Enforce safety rules and regulations to ensure guest safety at all times Perform water rescues using proper techniques when necessary Administer first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations Conduct regular pool inspections to identify hazards and ensure cleanliness Assist with pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, chemical checks, and equipment upkeep Provide friendly guest services by answering questions and assisting visitors with pool facilities Maintain accurate records of incidents or safety concerns for reporting purposes Skills Proven experience as a lifeguard or in a similar role is preferred Valid certification in CPR and First Aid required; Lifeguard certification highly desirable Ability to swim proficiently and perform water rescues under pressure Knowledge of pool maintenance and cleaning procedures is a plus Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for pool equipment or supplies Excellent observation skills with keen attention to safety details Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform demanding tasks in a dynamic environment

Pay:

$16.50 - $18.00 per hour
