Grow your career in the industry What will you do as a Swim Instructor? The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills Ensure swimmer safety What will you do as a Life Guard? Serve as the lifeguard on duty. Responsible for observing and patrolling the pool area, enforcing safety regulations as outlined in American Red Cross Lifeguard standards Assist swimmers in and around the pool area as well as swim instructors, as needed Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. Prepare and maintain appropriate incident reports.
