Responsibilities Vigilantly observe pool areas to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies Enforce safety rules and regulations to maintain a secure swimming environment Administer first aid and CPR as needed, ensuring prompt and effective care Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, skimming debris, and maintaining water clarity Assist guests with pool access, provide information about pool facilities, and address guest inquiries with friendly professionalism Perform regular pool cleaning duties including vacuuming, brushing walls, and checking chemical levels for optimal water quality Support overall pool area upkeep by inspecting safety equipment and ensuring compliance with health standards Skills Proven lifeguard experience with current certification in CPR and First Aid Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues confidently in various water conditions Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including chemical balancing and cleaning techniques Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling equipment or supplies safely Attention to detail in monitoring water quality and maintaining cleanliness standards Physical stamina to stand, walk, or swim for extended periods while remaining alert

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
