Job Description

Under the supervision of the Recreation Program Supervisor or designee, this position is responsible for swimmer/patron safety by supervising and or teaching swimmers water safety classes, enforcing swimming pool rules, and for basic pool maintenance.
Qualifications Qualifications:
1.Must possess a current Lifeguard certification issued by American Red Cross at time of hire 2.Must have, or be able to obtain within six months of hire, First Aid and CPR certification 3. Must have High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), exception for full-time high school students; must be at least 16 years of age 4.
