Job DescriptionResponsible for the safety of our guests while at the pool area. Responsible for the cleanliness of the pool/deck areas.

Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa Four Diamond Service Standards at all timesProvides courteous service to all guests Watches the pool closely from the lifeguard stations and ensures the safety of our guests at all times Maintains the pool deck so that it is clean and slip resistant Remains visible to hotel guests at all times Attends all training sessions and meetings and remains prepared to practice acquired skills Maintains an upright and attentive posture while guarding Follows all safety and health standards set forth by Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa at all timesObtains a bank, operates a cash register, and balances cash drawer on a daily basisCharges and collects payment for pool admissions, cabana sales, pool memberships, and retain productAssist in inventorying retail product and stocking as neededUses a Saflok key encoder to verify hotel guest are registeredWristbands all pool guest and monitors pool for unauthorized guestsActively sells cabanas and day beds and monitors to ensure only paid guests are utilizing themPre-sets up pool chairs, day beds, and cabanas for guests according to service standandsQualificationsPrevious Lifeguard experience preferredMust be able to reach the furthest extent of the assigned zone of BATHER surveillance within 20 secondsLifeguards will not be assigned other responsibilities while performing BATHER surveillanceMust be Lifeguard Certified CPR for the professional rescuer and first aid training Must possess excellent customer service skills Previous lifeguard experience preferred Must get along with co-workers and work as a teamAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
