Job Description
Camp Lovejoy, which is a Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady summer day camp program, is looking for lifeguards for our waterfront program. We are seeking individuals who are motivated, passionate, enthusiastic, and enjoy working with children. Camp Lovejoy is located in the beautiful Helderberg Mountains, in Altamont, NY. The camp runs from June 29th-August 21st. There will be paid mandatory training prior to camp that all personnel must attend.
Weekly Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.Daily Tasks include:
- Assist Aquatics Director in daily routines and provide a safe environment at the swimming pool.
- General lifeguard duties, maintenance of pool and pool area.
- Implement all health and safety procedures at pool.
- Teach campers swim lessons based on level.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Physically able.
- Current lifeguard certification.
