Job Summary:

Troutbeck is seeking a certified Lifeguard to provide safety coverage during scheduled poolside and aquatic events throughout the summer season. This role is strictly event-based and requires a high level of alertness, professionalism, and guest interaction to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide active lifeguard supervision during scheduled hotel events involving pool use Monitor guests in and around the pool area to ensure safety at all times Enforce pool rules and event-specific safety guidelines Respond immediately to emergencies, providing first aid, CPR, or AED assistance as needed Coordinate with event staff and management to support safe event operations Conduct pre-event and post-event safety inspections of the pool and surrounding areas Remain attentive in high-traffic, fast-paced event environments Deliver professional and courteous guest service throughout all events

Qualifications:

Current Lifeguard Certification (required) CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (required) Previous experience lifeguarding at events or high-volume settings preferred Strong situational awareness and quick decision-making skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule

Physical Requirements:

Strong swimming ability and ability to perform water rescues Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods Ability to respond quickly in emergencies

Work Environment:

Primarily outdoor pool and event spaces Exposure to summer weather conditions Fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere during events

Compensation:

$25.00 / hr. Flexible, event-based scheduling
