Lifeguard

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of our campers and pool patrons. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, a commitment to maintaining a safe environment, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. Responsibilities Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all patrons. Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Respond promptly to emergencies, administering first aid and CPR as necessary. Conduct regular pool maintenance checks, including water quality testing and cleanliness. Assist with pool cleaning duties. Follow leadership of Water Safety Instructor and implement swim lessons for our campers. Help maintain proper ratios for "swimmer" groups and "non swimmer" groups. Experience Proven swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if necessary. Certification in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding (shallow water certification permissible). Experience in pool maintenance and cleaning is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while remaining vigilant and attentive.

Schedule Weekdays:

all lifeguard staff will be involved with our camp groups. Camp groups will be running instructional swim programs and lifeguards will be expected to help implement those lessons.

Weekends:

pool is open for summer members and lifeguards are expected to perform usual monitoring of pool. Weekends are a bit less busy than weekdays. Join us in creating a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests while developing your skills in lifeguarding and customer service.
