The Saturn Club, a premier private club in Buffalo known for its welcoming atmosphere and exceptional member experience, is seeking a Fitness Attendant (Lifeguard Certification Required) to join our team. This part-time role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming fitness environment while delivering exceptional service to members and guests. We are specifically seeking someone with an active lifeguard certification who is available for evening and occasional early morning coverage. Because some shifts begin as early as 6:00 AM , reliable transportation is required, as public transit options may be limited during those hours. Schedule Part-time Approximately 1-2 shifts per week Primarily evening shifts (may run until 8:00-9:00 PM ) Occasional 6:00 AM opening shifts required Location 977 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, NY Responsibilities Provide outstanding service to members and guests in all fitness and locker room areas Perform daily and deep cleaning of the fitness center and locker rooms Manage towel service, laundry operations, and supply organization Conduct inventory checks and restock supplies as needed Ensure all areas remain clean, organized, safe, and member-ready Support additional housekeeping and maintenance tasks as needed Assist with light front desk coverage, including answering phones, greeting members, and responding to basic inquiries Requirements Active Lifeguard Certification required Availability to work evenings and occasional early morning shifts Reliable transportation required Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Work Style Customer service-focused and team-oriented Strong commitment to cleanliness, organization, and professionalism Able to maintain high standards in a polished club environment Benefits Paid time off Complimentary staff meals during shifts Free on-site parking Supportive and collaborative team environment
