Seasonal Lifeguard

Responsibilities Vigilantly monitor pool areas to ensure guest safety and enforce facility rules. Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations with appropriate first aid or CPR as needed. Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and maintaining water quality standards. Assist guests with pool access, provide excellent guest services, and answer questions about facility amenities. Perform regular pool cleaning duties to keep the environment hygienic and inviting. Support general pool area upkeep such as setting up equipment and ensuring safety signage is visible and in good condition. Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe, welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Qualifications Proven lifeguard experience or certification from a recognized organization (e.g., Red Cross or YMCA). Current CPR and First Aid certification; ability to respond quickly in emergency situations. Ability to swim confidently and perform water rescues if necessary. Experience with pool maintenance or cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Capable of heavy lifting and physical activity throughout shifts, including lifting equipment or supplies. Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
