Seasonal Lifeguard

As a lifeguard, you will be at the forefront of water safety, providing exceptional guest services while maintaining the highest standards of pool operations. Your proactive approach will help create memorable experiences for visitors and foster a secure atmosphere throughout the season. Responsibilities Vigilantly monitor pool areas to ensure guest safety and enforce facility rules. Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed. Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning pool decks, skimming debris, and maintaining water clarity. Assist guests with pool access, answer questions, and provide excellent guest services to enhance their experience. Perform regular inspections of pool equipment and facilities, reporting any maintenance needs or safety hazards. Support pool cleaning efforts by managing chemical levels, vacuuming pools, and ensuring hygiene standards are met. Heavy lifting of supplies and equipment may be required to support pool operations and maintenance. Experience Prior lifeguard experience is preferred; certification in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid is required or must be obtained upon hire. Knowledge of pool maintenance practices including chemical balancing and cleaning procedures is a plus. Ability to swim confidently in various water conditions and demonstrate strong swimming skills. Experience in guest services or customer-facing roles helps provide a welcoming environment for visitors. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, perform heavy lifting, and carry out routine cleaning tasks efficiently.
