Lifeguard Job Summary:

Our aquatic facility is seeking a certified lifeguard to join our team. The lifeguard will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests by monitoring the pool and enforcing pool rules. They will also be responsible for responding to emergencies and providing basic first aid as needed. The ideal candidate will be attentive, responsible, and able to work independently.

Job Responsibilities:

Monitor the pool area to ensure the safety of all guests Enforce pool rules and regulations Respond to emergencies and provide basic first aid as needed Complete daily pool maintenance tasks, including testing water quality and maintaining a clean and organized pool area Communicate with guests and provide excellent customer service Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date on safety procedures and certifications Report any safety concerns or maintenance issues to the facility manager Assist with swim lessons and other aquatic programs as needed

Qualifications:

Current lifeguard certification Current CPR and First Aid certifications Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and respond quickly to emergencies Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed Strong swimming skills and endurance

Physical Demands:
