The Center at Mariandale seeks a summer part-time lifeguard responsible for overseeing the safety of swimmers and pool users and implementing city/county/state rules pertaining to pool operation. She/he will be expected to oversee the daily cleanliness of the pool and fenced enclosure and prepare the pool area and bath house for the start and end of the day. Must be able to render basic first aid, implement Emergency Action Plan for serious or life-threatening injury/illness and submit appropriate documentation as needed.

Work Schedule:

Must be available from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays, holidays and weekends, for a total of 34 hours per week. Must be available from Memorial Day through late August. Flexibility is required as the days of the week you are scheduled to work may vary.

Qualifications:

Must be age 18 or older. Must have current Life Guard Training certification. Must have First Aid/CPR/AED Certification Must have a friendly, positive manner and the ability to respond calmly in extreme situations.
