Do you stay calm under pressure? If so, join our team as a Summer Lifeguard at EF International Language Campuses in Tarrytown, NY! As a Lifeguard, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our international students at the campus pool. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure swimmer safety through active supervision, but you'll also be a welcoming presence for students as they relax and socialize at the pool. Each day offers a chance to make meaningful connections while helping keep our campus a fun and secure place. Key Responsibilities Supervise students during open swim hours and enforce pool safety rules at all times. Monitor water quality and report any maintenance issues or hazards. Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed. Communicate clearly and respectfully with students of various English proficiency levels. Help maintain cleanliness and order in the pool area. Support student engagement and contribute to a positive campus atmosphere. Who You Are Alert & Safety-Focused

Requirements Must hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (or equivalent). CPR/AED and First Aid certification required. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse student populations. Must hold a valid U.S. passport or work permit (EF does not provide sponsorship). Compensation range for this role is $17.00/hr, based on experience. This role is eligible for overtime for any hours over 40-hours per week with manager approval.
