Job Description
Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors Orange City School District Employment Type Part-Time, Year-Round Compensation Starting at $15.00 per hour Position Summary Orange Community Education & Recreation is seeking certified Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors to work flexible, part-time hours throughout the year. This position is responsible for ensuring the safety of participants during aquatic programs and providing instruction in accordance with established safety standards and protocols. Qualifications Current certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, AED, and First Aid through the American Red Cross Concussion Law Certification and Lindsay's Law (Sudden Cardiac Arrest) Certification Ability to pass a required background check Physically capable of performing all required safety, rescue, and emergency response procedures Valid driver's license required The Board of Education declares it to be the policy of this District to provide an equal opportunity for all.
