AED Certification Full Job Description Job Summary:

Implement all water safety policies and procedures. Supervise members and guests in and around the swimming pool.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervise and observe swimmers at all times to ensure their safety. Administer care to swimmers' minor injuries, such as small cuts and bruises. Enforce rules of conduct at the pool. Check first aid supplies and reports needed items. Straighten the pool areas throughout and at the end of the day. Maintain all necessary records determined by the swimming pool manager. Maintain pool safety equipment. Perform required pool pre-opening/closing duties. Inform swimming pool manager about unresolved member or guest disruptions that could cause a safety problem. Complete other appropriate assignments from the Pool Manager Lifeguard certification (preferred but not required) Previous lifeguarding experience (preferred but not required) CPR and First Aid Certified (preferred but not required) All applicants are subject to a pre-employment background check.
