Job Description
Job Summary Join our team as a Seasonal Lifeguard and be the vigilant guardian of safety at our outdoor aquatic facility. In this energetic role, you will ensure a fun, safe, and enjoyable environment for all guests by monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, and providing exceptional guest services. Your proactive presence will help prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies, making a positive impact on our community's summer experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop lifesaving skills while working in a lively, outdoor setting. Duties Constantly observe pool areas to ensure guest safety and enforce facility rules Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations using first aid and CPR techniques Perform routine pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and equipment inspections Assist guests with pool access, provide information about pool rules, and address guest inquiries with enthusiasm Conduct regular pool cleaning and maintenance to uphold hygiene standards and facility appearance Monitor water quality levels and report any issues to management for immediate resolution Support overall pool area upkeep, including heavy lifting of supplies and cleaning equipment as needed Requirements Proven lifeguard experience with current certification in CPR and first aid Ability to swim confidently in various water conditions Experience with pool maintenance, cleaning Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, perform heavy lifting, and engage in active duties throughout shifts Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Knowledge of safety protocols related to pool operations and emergency response procedures Must be at least 16 years old or older; additional certifications in pool safety or lifeguarding are a plus Join us as a Seasonal Lifeguard and help create memorable summer moments by ensuring safety and delivering top-tier guest experiences!
