Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
(Part-time Position) The Camp Curtin YMCA is seeking certified lifeguards to work in our summer STEAM camp program. This position will report to the West Shore YMCA and will work in their facility. We are looking for lifeguards with a childcare file or willing to obtain.HOURS:
Tuesday and Thursdays 1-3SALARY:
Starting at $13.00/hour based on experience - FREE Adult Membership to the Harrisburg Area YMCA included. Shift differential provided for opening shifts.RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains active surveillance of the pool area while remaining on deck at all times, never leaving the pool unattended, and responds to any emergency that occurs Remain rescue ready while on the pool desk, including proper attire Follows proper protocol for transitioning with other lifeguards for reporting on duty and off duty as per scheduled shifts Enforces all pool rules in a consistent and friendly manner, and remains calm and objective when under pressure or when challenged by othersREQUIREMENTS
