We are a private member owned Country Club, located just outside of Reading, that offers multiple recreational activities, dining experiences and Club events. We are currently hiring Swim Instructors to work at our pool for the summer. The expected start date for availability will be Memorial Day 2026. What the pool instructor will be doing. Provides private and semi-private swimming lessons Conduct swim lessons in accordance with all safety and Club standards. Reports all concerns, emergencies, hazards or faulty equipment to the Clubhouse Manager. Ensures a safe and professional learning environment throughout lessons for all members. Communicate and enforce pool rules and policies. Communicates with parents and swimmers regarding progress and improvement. Keeps attendance records of members and children attending lessons Submit weekly member billing to accounting and Human Resources. What we require. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous teaching/coaching experience. CPR certified Lifeguard certification PA Child abuse clearance Background check Must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. Strong swimming abilities. Knowledge of proper swimming techniques and water safety rules. What we offer. Compensation is based on lessons package provided. The instructor position is not an hourly position. The Lifeguarding position is an hourly position of $15 per hour.
