In this energetic role, you will ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests by actively monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, and providing exceptional guest services. Your expertise in lifesaving techniques and pool maintenance will help create an enjoyable experience for everyone while maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities Vigilantly monitor pool areas to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies using certified lifesaving skills such as CPR and first aid. Enforce safety rules and regulations to ensure a secure environment for guests of all ages. Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, water testing, chemical balancing, and equipment inspections to uphold health standards. Assist guests with pool-related inquiries, provide excellent guest services, and promote a fun, friendly atmosphere. Perform regular pool cleaning duties such as skimming debris, scrubbing surfaces, and maintaining pool filters to ensure optimal water quality. Support overall facility maintenance by reporting repairs or hazards related to pool equipment or surrounding areas. Follow safety protocols during emergency situations, including rescue operations and first aid administration. Experience Prior experience as a lifeguard or in a similar aquatic safety role is highly preferred. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), first aid, and lifeguarding from an accredited organization is required. Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including chemical testing, water treatment, and cleaning techniques is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for pool equipment or supplies. Demonstrated commitment to guest service excellence with strong communication skills. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, swim proficiently, and respond quickly in emergency situations.
