Pool Attendant/Slide Attendant

Pool Attendant (Part-Time) The Garner by IHG Hotel is currently hiring a part-time Pool Attendant to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming pool environment for our guests. Position Overview The Pool Attendant plays an important role in guest safety, cleanliness, and overall pool operations. We are looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, and confident enforcing pool rules while providing excellent customer service.

Please note:

This is not a lifeguard position. Preferred Qualifications Friendly, professional, and dependable Enjoys working with children and families Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work well with team members and management CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications preferred Previous lifeguard or hospitality/service industry experience is a plus, but not required Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area Monitor pool safety and enforce pool rules and guidelines Check in guests and assist with pool-related questions Help monitor pool chemicals and equipment alongside maintenance staff and pool service providers Support the hotel's ongoing pool safety and guest service standards We are looking for team members who take pride in creating a positive guest experience and maintaining a safe, enjoyable environment for everyone.

Shift Hours Currently:

- Friday 4:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. - Saturday 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. / 4:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. - Sunday 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. We are gearing up for a new season and may be adding additional shifts.
