Work Onsite Full Time Schedule Part Time Job Type Seasonal Duration Permanent Employment Help for . The Lifeguard provides safety, supervision and organization to the swimming pool/splash pad area. Ability to perform CPR, First Aid and other life-saving techniques when necessary. Provides overall safety and assists in pool/splash pad, pool-house, and pool grounds area up-keep and maintenance responsibilities. Minimum Requirements American Red Cross Lifeguard certification or ability to obtain. CPR and American Red Cross First Aid certification required or ability to obtain. Ability to perform basic rescues. Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Ability to swim. Knowledge of First Aid, CPR and pool maintenance. Ability to read and understand materials including rules and regulations of the pool and City policies and procedures. Ability to write cash register and water maintenance reports. Skills in math in order to use the cash register. The City of Cuero (pop. 8,524) is located approximately 30 miles northwest of Victoria in DeWitt County.
