Work Onsite Full Time Schedule Part Time Job Type Regular Duration Permanent Employment Public Transit Available Benefits Help for . #HGCY26 #HGCYSummer26 #15-17 HGCY26 Know and understand all emergency procedures and respond to emergency situations immediately and appropriately, in accordance with YMCA standards, policies, and procedures Know understand, and consistently enforce safety rules, swim testing procedures, policies and guidelines for the pool and aquatics area Perform maintenance of the pool and pool area to assure high standards of safety and cleanliness; including vacuuming, cleaning pool deck, pool tiles, and trash pick up Perform pool chemical testing and maintain accurate records as required by YMCA standards, policies and procedures and/or the state health department code Check for pool hazards when arriving and continue to monitor risks to prevent accidents before they occur Perform daily equipment checks and ensure appropriate equipment is available as needed Any other job duties designated by management •Must be able to obtain YMCA Lifeguard Certification or American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification within 30 days of being hired Background requirements: Candidates must pass a drug screen and background check.
