Responsibilities Vigilantly monitor swimming areas to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed Conduct regular pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, chemical testing, and equipment checks to ensure optimal water quality and safety standards Assist guests with pool-related inquiries, directions, and general guest services to enhance their experience Perform routine pool cleaning duties such as skimming debris, vacuuming, and maintaining pool surrounds Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, and pool maintenance activities Support overall facility cleanliness by assisting with pool area sanitation and minor maintenance tasks Qualifications Proven lifeguard experience or relevant training certification (required) Current certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid (required) Ability to swim confidently and perform water rescues when necessary Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including chemical testing and cleaning techniques Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, prolonged standing, walking, and water rescues in a fast-paced environment Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Prior experience with pool cleaning or maintenance is a plus but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding journey where safety meets fun!
