Company Policy Duties Include:

As a Lifeguard, you must be safety minded and customer service oriented. Ensure everyone's safety. While on the stand lifeguards will be monitoring everyone and enforcing the rules. Patrol or monitor recreational areas or from towers and will monitor the pool deck and maintain safety on water slides. Rescue distressed persons, using rescue techniques and equipment. Contact emergency medical personnel in case of serious injury. Examine injured persons and administer first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, if necessary, using training and medical supplies and equipment. Warn recreational participants of inclement weather, unsafe areas, or illegal conduct. Greets and interacts with Members. Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid. Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities. Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members. Additional duties as required or assigned by management.

Experience Qualification Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred. ALL lifeguards must take a 1st year lifeguarding training class prior to working. Also, must have: Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time. Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping. Ability to tread water for 1 minute. Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping. Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs.
