Seasonal Lifeguard

Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Seasonal Lifeguard and be the essential guardian of safety and enjoyment at our outdoor aquatic facility. This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure a fun, safe environment for guests of all ages. As a lifeguard, you will actively monitor pool activities, enforce safety rules, and provide exceptional guest services. Your dedication will help create memorable experiences while maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness throughout the season. Duties Vigilantly supervise pool areas to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies using certified first aid and CPR skills Enforce safety rules and regulations to ensure a secure environment for all guests Conduct routine pool maintenance including cleaning, chemical checks, and ensuring water quality standards are met Assist guests with pool access, provide information about amenities, and address guest inquiries with a friendly attitude Perform regular inspections of pool equipment and surrounding areas to identify maintenance needs or hazards Support pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, scrubbing surfaces, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the facility Help with heavy lifting tasks related to pool supplies or equipment as needed to support smooth operations Experience Previous lifeguard experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates Certification in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding from an accredited organization is essential Ability to swim confidently and perform water rescues when necessary Familiarity with pool maintenance procedures and basic cleaning techniques is a plus Comfortable performing heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with pool upkeep Strong guest service skills with a positive, approachable demeanor Join us this season to make a splash by ensuring safety while delivering exceptional guest experiences!
