Tyler Village in Lignum, Virginia ✨ Childhelp is a psychiatric residential treatment facility that specializes in the treatment of children aged 5-14 with mild to severe trauma or neglect, psychiatric disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Our unique location on a 270-acre farm provides a nurturing treatment setting with a variety of therapy resources. We bring the light of love and healing into the lives of countless abused and neglected children, and those suffering from psychiatric and behavioral disorders. We take a holistic approach to serving our children along with meeting their physical, emotional and educational needs. Pay :

Starting at $16 to $18.

What you will do:

As a Lifeguard at Childhelp your vital role would be to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents. You will need to be able to provide a safe swimming environment, enforce pool rules, administer first aide, and be able to perform CPR and/or use an AED. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of water safety protocols and will be committed to providing an enjoyable and safe pool environment. You will conduct regular checks around the pool area and ensure the cleanliness of the pool environment. You would also perform regular pool maintenance as needed.

To be considered you should:

Be at least 18 years of age ~ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~ Preferred current Lifeguard Certification but will pay for certification if needed ~ CPR/AED & First Aid certification (can provide in orientation) ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test. Current employees are encouraged to apply- We will cover costs of certification.

Schedule:

Part-Time, up to 29 hours per week. Evening shifts- after 2:30pm. One weekend day required. Apply today and Make a Difference in the Lives of Youth!
