In this role, you will be the first line of defense in preventing accidents, responding swiftly to emergencies, and maintaining a clean, welcoming pool area. Duties Monitor pool activity continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents. Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including performing first aid and CPR when necessary. Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning pool decks, skimming debris, and ensuring water quality meets health standards. Perform regular pool inspections, including checking chemical levels and equipment functionality to maintain optimal conditions. Assist guests with pool-related inquiries, provide excellent guest services, and ensure a positive experience for all visitors. Maintain cleanliness of the pool area through proper pool cleaning and upkeep of surrounding facilities. Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed and report any hazards or maintenance needs immediately. Requirements Current certification in CPR and First Aid. Ability to swim proficiently and demonstrate strong water rescue skills. Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures and basic equipment operation. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform rescue techniques in emergency situations. Prior experience in guest services or customer-facing roles is preferred. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to safety and cleanliness.
