Flexible Weekday & Weekend Shifts The Simon Family JCC, located in Virginia Beach, is seeking Certified Lifeguards for both seasonal and year-round positions. We are looking for safety-conscious individuals with a passion for aquatics who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Join our team to help oversee our state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor recreational pools. Lifeguard Job Summary As a lifeguard, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of all members and guests using the Simon Family JCC's aquatics facilities.

Key duties include:

Supervising recreational swimmers through consistent scanning and rule enforcement. Preventing accidents and injuries. Providing immediate emergency intervention when necessary. Requirements for Lifeguards Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification, including CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid (required). Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification (preferred). 16 years of age or older (preferred). How to Apply To apply, submit your cover letter, resume, and application to resumes@ujft.org.
