These attendants will be required to check in the homeowners and their guests, ensure that visitors are eligible for pool entry and that all rules and policies of pool, City of Virginia Beach and Cape Henry Towers are followed. This position is from the beginning of the pool season working Memorial Day thru the end of Labor Day Weekend, and possibly until the end of September. This position is seasonal full time Monday thru Sunday. Lifesaving Certification is required and being available during the open hours of pool during the entire season is required. Certification reimbursement available. Essential functions of the position include, but not limited to the following: Monitor patrons throughout the pool area Respond to emergency situations Responsible for checking pool passes Clean restrooms and take out trash Maintain swimming pool's cleanliness and water's chemistry Opens and closes pool on time Report any accidents, unusual circumstances, or maintenance problems to supervisor Present professional appearance and attitude at all times Will offer Lifeguard Training, First Aid and CPR Certification to potential employees Possess reliable transportation to and from CHT Attendance for scheduled shift required Perform other duties as assigned
