Responsibilities Continuously observe swimming areas to ensure the safety of all patrons Enforce facility rules and regulations to prevent accidents and promote responsible behavior Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including rescues and first aid administration Conduct regular safety inspections of pools, equipment, and surrounding areas Maintain clear communication with team members and emergency responders during incidents Complete incident reports accurately and promptly after any safety-related events Educate patrons on pool rules, safety procedures, and proper use of facilities to enhance overall safety awareness Skills Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues confidently Certification in lifeguarding, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and first aid from recognized organizations Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond decisively in emergencies Effective communication skills to interact positively with patrons and team members Physical stamina to stand, walk, or swim for extended periods during shifts A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all visitors Join us in making a difference by ensuring safety while creating memorable experiences for our community!
