Job Description

Housekeeper Copper River Seafoods, Inc.
POSITION PURPOSE
The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment for the processing plant and/or Corporate Campus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors
  • vacuum clean carpets, rugs, and draperies
  • dust and polish furniture and fittings
  • clean metal fixtures and fittings
  • empty and clean trash containers
  • dispose of trash in a sanitary manner
  • clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers
  • wipe down glass surfaces
  • wash windows as scheduled
  • sort, wash, load, and unload laundry
  • sort, fold and put away clean laundry
  • operate mechanized cleaning equipment
  • maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
  • monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements .
SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
Required:
  • Lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 25 lbs.
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Kneel, bend and crawl
  • Squat and crouch
  • Work in confined spaces
  • Tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals
  • A high level of proficiency with standard Microsoft Office software required. Competency requirements
