Job Description

Sven's Hostel is looking for a crew member to help us close out our Summer 2026 season here in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Start date:
July 17- Late September This is a paid position plus tips, offering room and board, company vehicle usage, and a summer of fun. We maintain and operate a small camp including 9 private cabins, 2 treehouse cabins, 2 arctic tents, and 1 mixed gendered dorm. We are looking for someone that is able to go above and beyond in the following areas: Guest Services Welcome guests and provide a friendly first impression. Handle check-ins, check-outs, and reservations. Answer guest inquiries in person, by phone, or online. Provide information about local attractions, transportation, and activities. Resolve guest concerns professionally. Housekeeping Clean and prepare dormitories, private cabins and treehouses, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas. Maintenance and General Duties Perform basic maintenance tasks when required. Requirements Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or housekeeping is an advantage. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment. Basic computer skills for reservations. Must be able to legally work in the U.S.
