Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, adhering to established cleanliness standards. Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs to management. Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition. Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials and maintaining safety protocols. Assist in laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding cleanliness. Skills Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial practices is essential. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within set timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus. Experience with industrial cleaning methods is advantageous but not required.
