Conduct janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfection to ensure a hygienic environment. Carry out floor care procedures including buffing, polishing, stripping, and sealing floors to maintain their appearance and durability. Assist with custodial responsibilities like window washing, wall cleaning, and light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or fixing minor fixtures. Support facilities maintenance activities by identifying repair needs and coordinating with maintenance teams for repairs or improvements. Utilize commercial cleaning techniques for industrial or large-scale environments to ensure safety standards are met. Maintain cleanliness logs and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential, commercial, or industrial settings is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with floor care equipment such as buffers and polishers is advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper handling practices is essential. Experience in facilities maintenance or general upkeep enhances your ability to perform the role effectively. Familiarity with residential painting or light repair work is a plus but not required. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
