Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms to the highest standards. Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, elevators, and stairwells by sweeping, mopping, and dusting. Perform floor care tasks including vacuuming carpets, sweeping hard floors, and performing deep cleaning when necessary. Handle laundry duties for linens and towels efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Report any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms or public areas promptly to management for swift resolution. Follow safety procedures and use cleaning equipment responsibly to ensure a safe environment for yourself and guests. Assist with special cleaning projects such as industrial cleaning or deep cleans during low occupancy periods. Support the housekeeping management team in maintaining inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality roles with a strong focus on housekeeping standards. Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning methods. Familiarity with hotel operations or custodial environments enhances efficiency in this role. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy linens or moving furniture when needed. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues effectively. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment or specialized cleaning products is a plus.
