Job Description

At The Compton, every guest room is more than just a place to stay—it's a place to rest, recharge, and feel at home. As a Room Attendant, you'll play one of the most important roles on our team: creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space where guests can let go of their daily responsibilities and simply enjoy their time in the Ozarks. What You'll Do Prepare your cart with supplies and keep storerooms organized. Clean and refresh guest rooms—including bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures—so they're ready for each new arrival. Replace linens, towels, amenities, and room items to ensure everything is stocked and guest-ready. Vacuum, dust, and polish all surfaces, including those hard-to-reach spots. Inspect equipment and room features (locks, lights, faucets, etc.) and report any issues right away. Handle guest belongings and hotel property with care, reporting lost or found items. Maintain a friendly and welcoming presence with every interaction. What We're Looking For A team player with attention to detail and pride in their work. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs, and be on your feet for long periods. Comfortable working with cleaning supplies and following safety standards. Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus but not required—we're happy to train the right person. Why The Compton We believe that every detail matters. From a freshly made bed to a sparkling bathroom, the work you do helps create the kind of guest experience people remember long after they've checked out. Here, you're part of a team that takes care of one another as much as we take care of our guests.
