Job Description

Description We need someone who fits the description below to join our team as a Housekeeper. In this position, you would be responsible for cleaning your assigned areas of the hotel. Essential Elements Regular and punctual attendance. Ability to push and/or pull a loaded cart weighing approximately 50-75 pounds. Ability to lift and move approximately 30 pounds. Ability to constantly lift and move approximately 20-25 pounds including setting and storing in overhead areas. Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, and reach on a regular basis. Ability to carry out all safety and emergency procedures, i.e.: fire emergency, etc. Ability to stand and walk on a continuous basis, and run as warranted. Ability to perform tasks requiring sustained repetitive motion and/or fine motor skills. Ability to read or understand diagrams and count accurately. Job Tasks Cleans assigned areas of the hotel in a professional and timely manner. Restock all supplies needed. Minimizes waste and spoilage by practicing designated product rotation and storage systems. Informs management of any immediate need for supplies. Maintains clean and safe public and working areas at all times. Handles chemicals and cleaning supplies as directed. Reports all incidents and accidents to management
Qualification Standards Experience:
Customer Service experience preferred. Restaurant/Banquet experience helpful.
