In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall maintenance of guest areas and hotel facilities. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment for guests and support the smooth operation of our hotel services. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable of handling demanding tasks, and committed to delivering exceptional hospitality standards. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and chemical agents. Handle chemical agents safely by adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to maintain a safe environment. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks such as moving furniture, supplies, and equipment to support housekeeping operations. Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to ensure spotless surfaces that meet hotel standards. Assist with hotel housekeeping management tasks including inventory control, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues promptly. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety in all situations. Support janitorial and custodial activities by managing industrial cleaning tasks with efficiency and attention to detail. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles within a hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, industrial cleaning equipment, and janitorial best practices. Familiarity with chemical agent handling, safety data sheets (SDS), and safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and effectively. Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff. Previous hotel experience is highly desirable; experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is a plus.
