House Cleaner / Residential & Commercial Cleaner

Job Overview We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Independent Contract Cleaners (Residential & Commercial) to provide high-quality cleaning services throughout Burlingame, San Mateo County, and surrounding Bay Area locations. This role is ideal for experienced cleaners who value flexibility, independence, and control over their own schedule . You will service residential homes and small commercial spaces, ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and welcoming for clients. This is a 1099 independent contractor position , not an employee role. Responsibilities Perform residential and commercial cleaning services, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization Clean and disinfect kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, offices, and common areas Complete deep cleanings and move-in / move-out cleanings as requested Ensure all assigned spaces meet high cleanliness and sanitation standards Communicate professionally with clients regarding cleaning needs and expectations Follow proper safety practices while using cleaning tools and supplies Maintain reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail on all accepted jobs Requirements & Skills Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial work, or similar roles preferred Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Professional attitude and customer-service mindset Must provide your own cleaning supplies, equipment, and transportation Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, standing, and repetitive motion Independent Contractor Details (Important) This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity Contractors choose their own availability and accept jobs at their discretion No fixed schedules or required hours Paid per job (not hourly or salaried) Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and expenses Why This Opportunity?
