PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS 1.

Performs as regular Housekeeping attendant with additional duties while leading by example. 2. Assist supervisor in; supervising, training, development of subordinates, as well as the cleaning and maintenance of the entire casino keeping in mind customer satisfaction and teamwork. 3. Follows the daily cleaning schedules, per eight (8) hour shift. 4. Demonstrates knowledge of all Housekeeping responsibilities. 5. Ensure methodologies and perform routine inspections. 6. Assures that all cleaning tasks are performed in a safe and timely manner. 7. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. 8. Assist supervisor in training and evaluation of subordinates. 9. Ability to lift a maximum of fifty (50) pounds up to three (3) times per week and push a maximum of one hundred (100) pounds up to three (3) times per week for various job related duties per eight (8) hour shift. 10. Performs all other work -related duties as assigned by the supervisor. The duties listed are not set forth for the purposes of limiting the assignment of work. QUALIFICATIONS

Work Experience Required:

Three years previous experience as a housekeeper.

Education:

Must be able to speak, read and understand English.

Other Requirements:

Knowledge of chemical usage and safety procedures. Possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Bi-lingual preferred. Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position. Must possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions as necessary. Must be able to resolve conflicts and have effective communication skills with all levels of employees and be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.

SCHEDULED HOURS

Commerce Casino operates 24 hours, 7 days a week. Schedules may vary depending on business needs.
