In this role, you will help ensure our resort remains spotless, organized, and guest-ready at all times—creating an exceptional experience for every visitor. As part of a small but hardworking team, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our 15 cottages and shared spaces across the ranch. Housekeeping Associate Location:

Escondido, CA 92025 Pay rate : $18-$20 per hour Position type : Up to 40 hours per week (includes weekends and may include evenings)

Housekeeping Associate Key Responsibilities Cabin & Public Area Cleaning:

Maintain cleanliness and presentation of guest cabins and public areas including the Adobe, restrooms, Pelican Room, retail store, front office, team room, and back office.

Daily Housekeeping Operations:

Follow schedules to ensure timely turnovers and refresh services for guest cottages.

Laundry Operations:

Manage linens, comforters, and pool towels, including collection, washing, and redistribution.

Linen & Supply Coordination:

Prepare and distribute linen boxes; transport supplies as needed.

Inventory Management:

Monitor housekeeping supplies and coordinate restocking with the Facilities team.

Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure cleaning tools and equipment are properly maintained and ready for use.

Guest Services:

Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests for amenities (coffee, water, tea, linens, etc.).

Interdepartmental Collaboration:

Work closely with Front Desk and Maintenance teams to address guest needs.

Maintenance Reporting:

Identify and report repair needs in cottages and public areas.

Policy & Safety Compliance:

Follow all resort policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate logs of housekeeping activities, room status, and maintenance requests. Qualifications & Skills Previous housekeeping experience preferred (hotel, resort, or hospitality setting) Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and equipment use Problem-solving mindset with the ability to take initiative Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods Comfortable performing physically demanding, hands-on work Schedule Requirements Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed Schedule may fluctuate week-to-week based on business needs, occupancy levels, and team availability Ability to adapt to changing shifts, including occasional last-minute adjustments or extended hours during peak periods

Pay:
