Job Description

Part-Time Housekeeping and Laundry Aide Golden Haven Care Center•Glendale, CA Golden Haven Care Center is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and hardworking Part-Time Housekeeping and Laundry Aide to join our team! This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents while supporting daily housekeeping and laundry operations.

PM Thursday:
6:00 AM•12:30
PM Pay:
Competitive pay based on experience Essential Duties and Responsibilities Housekeeping Duties Clean resident rooms, hallways, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and common areas to ensure health and safety standards are met Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, upholstery, and draperies Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork as needed Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to designated disposal areas Replenish supplies such as linens, towels, toiletries, and bathroom items Keep housekeeping carts and storage areas stocked, organized, and clean Observe precautions to protect resident property and report any damage or lost items to supervisors Follow all cleaning schedules, sanitary procedures, and safety regulations Laundry Duties Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens Label resident clothing items as needed Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available daily Inspect linens and remove damaged or stained items from service Maintain inventory of laundry supplies Operate laundry equipment safely and report equipment issues promptly Follow all infection control and sanitary procedures related to laundry services Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous housekeeping or laundry experience in a healthcare or senior living environment preferred Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Compassion and patience when working with seniors Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must meet all health requirements as required by state regulations
