Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Local Housekeeper for Timber Cove vacation rental. Backup to support our regular housekeeper for our vacation rental property. This role is vital in ensuring our guests enjoy a spotless, welcoming environment during their stay. As a backup housekeeper, you will step in to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hospitality when the primary housekeeper is unavailable. Your energetic approach and commitment to excellence will help create memorable experiences for our guests, making every stay comfortable and enjoyable. Training provided. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of rental units, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces Ensure all surfaces are sanitized, dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and polished to meet cleanliness standards Care for floors by sweeping, vacuuming, and performing deep cleaning as needed Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning products to ensure guest comfort Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance or cleaning needs and report issues promptly Follow established protocols for hospitality and janitorial services to uphold a high standard of guest experience Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels Experience Previous experience in cleaning a plus Background in housekeeping is a plus Knowledge of cleaning products, safety procedures, and sanitation standards ability to work independently
