In this vital role, you will assist with setting up and breaking down banquet events, serve food and beverages with enthusiasm, and ensure every guest receives exceptional service. Responsibilities Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet events, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and service stations to meet event specifications. Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously to guests during banquets, receptions, and special events. Buss tables efficiently by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and maintaining a clean dining area throughout service. Support food handling and food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all items are presented attractively and adhere to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of banquet areas, service stations, and back-of-house spaces in compliance with health regulations. Provide excellent guest services by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally, fostering positive guest relations. Assist with catering functions by supporting event staff in delivering seamless service experiences from start to finish. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued. Knowledge of culinary practices, food handling procedures, and food safety standards is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build positive guest relations. Experience with banquet service, catering, or restaurant operations enhances your suitability for this role. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy trays or equipment safely, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. A background in hotel or restaurant experience is advantageous; familiarity with food preparation or coffee service is also beneficial. A proactive attitude with a focus on teamwork and attention to detail will help you succeed in this energetic environment.
