The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. This position requires a proactive individual who is skilled in various cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring that all areas are safe, clean, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike. Duties Perform routine cleaning and janitorial tasks to maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility. Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing surfaces. Carry out custodial duties such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfection. Assist with commercial cleaning projects as needed, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met. Support facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Utilize proper cleaning techniques for various surfaces and materials to ensure longevity and appearance. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and address any facility-related issues promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is essential. Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is a plus. Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining a safe working environment.
