Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your energy and attention to detail will create a welcoming and spotless environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your dedication to high standards of cleanliness will ensure every guest experiences comfort and satisfaction during their stay. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to meet quality standards. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, polishing floors, and ensuring all surfaces are spotless. Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently. Use industrial cleaning equipment safely to perform deep cleaning tasks like carpet shampooing or floor polishing. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests and staff. Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a hygienic environment for guests and team members. Collaborate with housekeeping management to report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work within hotels or similar hospitality settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and janitorial procedures. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts. Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
